RED: Research Based Outreach
The Project RED initiative is focused upon engaging in research
and its application. We therefore seek to actively engage in
opportunities to provide research-based outreach to organizations
and communities.
Project Red’s goal is to to promote social justice and
create opportunities for individual, organizational, and
community learning, development, and effectiveness through
engaged scholarship. Training and developing the next
generation of socially engaged and reflective diversity
researchers and practitioners is another important goal
that allows us to practice cost containment while providing
excellent and responsive service.
Project RED faculty and graduate students have engaged
in research and/or delivered workshops to support the diversity
and effectiveness goals of institutions that include:
- The American Cancer Society
- BellSouth
- Rice University
- Middle Tennessee State University
- UGA College of Education
- UGA Franklin College of Arts & Sciences
- UGA Office of Finance & Administration
- Wofford College
