RED is a collective of diversity scholars and graduate students at the University of Georgia who are invested in and focused upon promoting equity, inclusion, social justice, and excellence.  Our scholarship and professional work seeks to identify and understand the unique realities and strengths of groups that have been historically and socially marginalized in order to improve their opportunities for personal and professional growth, learning, effectiveness, and well being.   Through our research and engaged scholarship we also hope to positively impact the institutions and communities in which we work and live.
